The Sullivan South Area Community Chest is 100% funded by donations from the community. These funds are received two ways.

​Employer-Led United Way Campaign
You can donate to the Community Chest through your employer-led United Way Campaign. Simply choose “Sullivan South” on your pledge form. If you do not see us listed, please ask about it. 

Direct Contributions
You may mail a donation directly to the community chest at Sullivan South Area Community Chest, P.O. Box 5553, Kingsport, TN 37663.

The organizations we support must submit an application for funding that explains what the money is needed for, details the area that is served, provides evidence of their tax exempt status, and demonstrate their fiscal responsibility via financial reports and/or audits. Most of the organizations we support are not otherwise funded by the United Way. 


While there are many worthwhile organizations to give to, few have a more direct impact on your community than your Community Chest.
