A evening baseball game at South View Park.

The Sullivan South Area Community Chest community park, Southview Park, is located on 15 acres at 401 Rock Springs Road (map below.) The park is used by the Colonial Heights Athletic Commission and the Optimist Club for baseball and football, and area baseball and softball tournaments. Joggers and walkers use the perimeter of the ball fields for exercise. The facilities include a concession stand, picnic shelter and community building. The community building is ideal for events such as:
•  Family Reunions
•  Wedding Receptions
•  Church or Youth Events
•  Meetings or Training
•  Special Events and more

The community building and ball fields are available for rent by calling (423) 239-8577.

rental rates

• $50.00 an hour for entire building.      
• $125 for a half day for entire building.       
• $200 for a full day for entire building. 

rental terms of agreement

• The rates listed above are for a one time slot of up to 4 hours. The rate for renters desiring more than one time slot, on the same day, will be determined by the scheduling coordinator.
• The security fee will be the amount equal to the total rental fee. The type of activity may require additional security fees.
• Persons or groups that rent on a long-term basis will only pay the security fee once.
• Persons or groups that rent on a long-term basis may receive a reduction in fees, up to 20 percent.
• Persons or groups that rent on a long-term basis will pay all fees on a monthly basis, in advance.
• The scheduling coordinator and/or the center committee can, at it’s discretion, end any long-term rental agreement.
• Long term rental agreements will be for no more than six months. The agreement will be reviewed before an additional six month period will be allowed.
• Activities at the community building must end at 10:30pm.
• The facility is located inside the city limits and all applicable laws, including noise ordinances, must be observed at all times.
